OchreSoft Technologies Announce the VirtualFirm Partnership
Swindon 31 May 2006 - OchreSoft Technologies recognise there is a need within the legal industry for technology that delivers joined up services to all; be they lawyer, work provider or client. The VirtualFirm is a combination of market leading technology and business development strategies which will be run for the benefit of all parties.
OchreSoft developed the VirtualFirm in cooperation with many small and medium sized law firms in order to support them in delivering Home Information Packs (HIPs) and providing a better, risk managed, service to their clients.
Michael Swift, sales director and member of BPE Homemove commented: “Many firms are running the risk of losing their traditional work providers as local agents move towards national providers; fearing that this is the only way they can provide HIPs.”
OchreSoft’s VirtualFirm is a combination of market leading conveyancing case management, web portal and an information passing exchange which allows firms to receive electronic instructions from work providers, order HIP packs or automatically incept conveyancing cases. Furthermore, the ICONexpert conveyancing workflows will automatically update web milestones so that clients, partners and work providers are kept up-to-date as the case progresses.
Swift continues: “The VirtualFirm is not a marketing pitch, it’s a strategy for survival; enabling lawyers to combine the latest technology with their local knowledge. This combination will provide a superior service to clients who are dealing with a mixture of complex processes, unfamiliar terminology and large sums of money.”
Clive McCafferty, CEO at OchreSoft, comments: “The VirtualFirm and our managed services are the best way for small to medium sized firms to get the benefit of technology with low technology risk and low up-front capital cost.”
The VirtualFirm will commence operation on 3rd July 2006 but the core technology has been in use for over 12 months.
