Intelliworks and Online SDLT

Intelliworks is fully-integrated with HMRC’s online service to support electronic submission of Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns, helping to save time while eliminating the problems associated with errors. 

Intelliworks connects with the HMRC gateway for online completion of forms SDLT 1, 2, 3, 4 and generates a SDLT 5 certificate automatically, typically within a few seconds of successful submission. Our server monitors the HMRC gateway in real-time to ensure that the submission has been successful, notifying the user of any errors.

The SDLT forms can be pre-populated with data held within Intelliworks, eliminating the need to re-key information into the HMRC website.  The data is then checked against HMRC's business rules to ensure its integrity before submission.  Partially completed forms can be saved on the system and a copy of the submitted form is held in the case history for audit trail purposes.

E-submission of SDLT offers a real opportunity to reduce administrative overheads, eliminate errors and speed up conveyancing processes and this is great news in a highly competitive market-place.
