It’s a big deal for Ochresoft

Legal workflow specialist, Ochresoft, has announced details of one of the largest contracts to date for its Intelliworks conveyancing software.

Leading Cornish law firm Coodes LLP has rolled out the solution to over fifty staff across its seven offices, with the project completing in less than three months. It comprised Cloud-based content-enabled workflows and Quotes module, with the VirtualFirm customer and agent portal being added later this summer.

Although long-term users of another case management system, Coodes was keen to embrace a fully featured conveyancing workflow system to underpin an anticipated growth in business volumes.

Head of Conveyancing Alistair Whyte explains:“As things went on last year we could see the potential for a massive upshift in conveyancing work and we wanted to ensure that the current team could continue to deliver a consistent, high quality service in the face of rising volumes. A speedy implementation become the key critical success factor, but with Ochresoft’s Cloud technology, project management and training we beat even our own challenging target, going live in less than twelve weeks.

Other influential factors included the superior risk and compliance framework that Intelliworks offers; the fact that the workflows embed standards and efficiency in everything we do; and our confidence in the vision, approach and strategy of Ochresoft themselves, with lawyers and legal process remaining core to ongoing development plans. That has given them excellent insight and empathy and it is shown in both the design of the product and the attitude of the Ochresoft team. Working together Coodes is now excellently placed to take full advantage of the improving market, with the ability to offer high-grade conveyancing services whilst remaining competitive – and profitable.”

Pauline Freegard, Ochresoft’s Director of Business Development, comments: “In terms of monthly conveyancing volumes Coodes is now one of our largest clients to date and demonstrates just how well Intelliworks scales. As we use a pay-per-case model, it’s equally affordable if you are doing 10 completions a month or a 1000. What matters more is the fact that Intelliworks opens up access to professionally engineered workflows written by lawyers for lawyers, effortless risk management and a customer-led service culture – and law firms can have it all within a matter of weeks, regardless of size or IT capability.”
