We’re pleased to introduce Johanna Searle, Legal Trainer, in the next installment of our ‘Meet the Team’ interview series.
- Q: What does your role entail?
I am one of the Legal Trainers at Ochresoft. I train new and existing customers to get the most use out of Intelliworks. In more recent times this has been provided remotely, but we also offer onsite training. I work with our customers to tailor the training so it’s appropriate to their level of knowledge and the job role. I also work with our customers as to how they can optimise their use of Intelliworks to fit their team structure.
- Q: When considering your career at Ochresoft, what are you most proud of?
We have recently introduced a feedback questionnaire which we send to our customers post training. I’m really proud of the consistently high scores we are getting, backing up the great training we offer.
- Q: What do you most enjoy about working at Ochresoft?
We have a great team of people here at Ochresoft who genuinely make it a joy to come into work. I also love getting out and about and meeting our customers and seeing the results of efficiency and consistency they are getting post implementation of Intelliworks. I love the look of enlightenment when a new user realises how much Intelliworks can help them.
- Q: When you are asked to explain what you do for a living, how do you sum-up your role in one sentence?
I am a lawyer who trains other lawyers in the use of software that will help them to become faster and more efficient (and therefore less stressed and happier!).
- Q: What do you believe is the key reason customers enjoy using Intelliworks?
The people we work with know how to ‘do the job’ but Intelliworks gives them efficiency and consistency throughout the case. Our end-to-end risk management and detailed workflows ensure they can’t miss a step, even when under pressure.
- Q: Tell us an interesting fact, hidden gem or favourite feature within the Intelliworks platform?
I love the way Intelliworks handles the post-grant stages of a Probate transaction, particularly the reconciliation of bank accounts, meaning that the Estate Accounts (which can be produced any time you like with about three clicks!) gives a clear and accurate picture of the estate. I also love that you can search for a case just using a person’s National Insurance number.
- Q: Tell us an interesting fact about yourself?
I was a fence judge on Cross Country Day at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics (held in 2021!). I was out in Tokyo for three weeks for the equestrian events working with Japanese and a handful other international volunteers (only 50 of us in total) to ensure the smooth running of the competition. I’m about to depart to fence judge at the World Equestrian Games in Pratoni (the world cup of Eventing).
