On 29th March, the first ESTAS Forum is taking place, which brings together estate agents and conveyancers.
What makes this event different is that it will be bringing together agency and legal professionals to actively discuss how best to work together to smooth the transaction process for all.
Our parent company, Landmark, recently spoke to the Daily Telegraph, looking at the increasing timescales we are seeing in residential property transactions. Comparing data from 2007 to today, Landmark’s data showed that timescales between instruction and completion has increased from an average of 96 days to 135 days.
There is no single reason or remedy to fixing this, however by bringing innovation and simplicity through data and technology to the property market, we as a group are committed to play our part in solving this industry-wide challenge.
The ESTAS Forum echoes this and will be exploring ways where efficiencies can be made, what solutions are already being used, and how technology plays a large part in not only streamlining but safeguarding the process for all.
