In January 2021, the Ochresoft team made a pledge to offset the carbon emissions produced by the business, in a bid to become carbon neutral.
Since launching the ‘Forest of Ochresoft’ three years ago, we have planted 4,506 trees across the globe, which equates to reforesting 4.4 hectares. More than 1,111 tonnes of CO2 are being captured over the lifetime of the trees.

Earth Hour: switch off and give #MyHourForEarth
On 23rd March at 8:30pm local time, spend 60 minutes doing something positive for our planet.
Earth Hour is a moment of unity that brings the world together, shines a spotlight on nature loss and the climate crisis, and inspires millions more to act and advocate for urgent change. It’s known for the “lights off” movement – a symbolic event to show collective support for the planet, and demonstrating support for stronger action on climate change.
After switching off all lights, you could spend the Hour with friends, family, and community – whether at home, outside, online, or in-person – to make it an impactful evening to remember.

Earth Day: the World’s Largest Environmental Movement
Celebrated on the 22nd April, Earth Day is an annual event dedicated to awareness about the various environmental challenges faced by our planet. The movement is celebrated in over 192 countries around the world, who all have their own Earth Day celebrations. Each Earth Day can drive a year of energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to create a new plan of action for our planet.
For Earth Day 2024, EARTHDAY.ORG is unwavering in the commitment to end plastics for the sake of human and planetary health, demanding a 60% reduction in the production of all plastics by 2040.
