Meet the team: Chris Sadler

We’re pleased to introduce Chris Sadler in the first of our new ‘Meet the Team’ interview series.

  • Q: What does your role entail?

I’m a Customer Relationship Manager, which is a proactive account manager role.  My job is to focus on managing the ongoing relationship to make sure our customers are getting the most out of Intelliworks.

I joined Ochresoft two weeks before the pandemic! I was briefly in the office to meet my new team and have been working from home since.  I was previously with Landmark – working in customer services for the legal team, specifically focusing on the Financial Asset Search service.

  • Q: When considering your career at Ochresoft, what are you most proud of?

I have gone from a reactive role to a proactive role, and for me I take great pride in the relationships I have built. I like the freedom to make choices and shape each customer relationship, rather than simply responding to enquiries that come to me.  It’s my choice on how to make that relationship work and I am proud of the actions I have taken since joining the team.

  • Q: What do you most enjoy about working at Ochresoft?

The thing I enjoy the most is having the freedom to manage my day but also the relationships themselves – I love a good conversation, and sometimes it’s the small friendly interactions that really make my day.

  • Q: When you are asked to explain what you do for a living, how do you sum-up your role with Ochresoft in one sentence?

It’s pretty simple really – I’m an account manager looking after a portfolio of customers, to keep them happy and engaged with Intelliworks.

  • Q: Tell us an interesting fact about yourself

In my time off, I write fiction and hope to publish my own novel in the future.  I am someone who likes to see things through to the end… apart from my own writing! I have written two endings already, I now just need to complete the start and the middle.
