The ‘Forest of Ochresoft’

The ‘Forest of Ochresoft’ carbon offsetting continues into 2022

In January 2021, the Ochresoft team made a pledge to offset the carbon emissions produced by the business, in a bid to become carbon neutral.

During the course of 2021, more than 1,419 trees were planted across the globe, which equates to more than 274 tonnes of CO2 being captured over the lifetime of the trees – four times the original goal set by Ochresoft team members.

Ochreosft are now sixteen months on from launching this biodiversity initiative, and continue to be deeply committed to maintaining their approach of being a massively carbon-negative business.

As of April 2022, 1,757 trees have been planted, capturing 492.11 tonnes of CO2 and reforesting 1.36 hectares.

The programme is being completed in partnership with Tree Nation – part of a wider program dedicated to reforesting the world. For anyone wishing to plant a tree in the ‘Forest of Ochresoft’, click here – all donations are gratefully received.
